Marriage of Henry and Alice (Burr) Mitchell. He is a 25 year old batchelor farmer, born in Victoria, B. C., Canada. and living in Ladner, B. C., Canada. son of Nathaniel and Eliza Mitchell.
Alice Mary Burr is the 24 year old spinster daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Burr, born in Icklesham, Rye, Sussex, England and living in New Westminster, B. C., Canada.
They were married on the 30th. May, 1906 in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Royal Avenue, New Westminster, B. C., Canada, by the reverend J. Alfred Seymor, by license, and the witnesses were Bessie Burr, sister and J. J. Mahoney, both of New Westminster, with the little flower girl Ellen Patchell, daughter of William Patchell.

*Geoffrey was with the RCMP and had not served long enough to request permission to be married, so the first time they eloped!
He had to continue living in barracks for another year before permission was granted to marry; consequently, marriage number two.
